On September 29, the entire team took part in the 3rd edition of the LemayMichaud Day. A bit like our organizational “national holiday”, this day was born of the desire to come together, to highlight the year's successes, new arrivals and professional anniversaries, but above all, to celebrate what makes LemayMichaud what it is today: its team.
The three offices came together for a day, under incredibly autumnal weather at the Cité de l'Énergie in Shawinigan. The day included a visit of the hydroelectric sector, an immersive experience at the science museum, observation from the top of the Hydro-Québec tower, a festive happy hour, and food trucks. It was a unifying and heart-warming event!
Emphasis on the environment
Held this year under the theme of the environment, LemayMichaud Day was the perfect opportunity for the Green Committee to present its environmental plan for the coming years to the entire team. The Green Plan aims to solidify and propel LemayMichaud's efforts to create healthy, green, sustainable, inclusive, and equitable environments for our clients and employees alike. The environment is indeed a significant concern for the entire team, and the daily actions taken by everyone greatly contribute to the reduction of our ecological footprint.
New arrivals and professional milestones
The day was also an opportunity to acknowledge the arrival of new team members, and to celebrate those who have been with us for many years. We celebrated the 5 years and 10 years anniversaries of several of our valued colleagues. Architect and Partner Philippe Blais celebrated his 15 years with LemayMichaud. Partners Lucie Vaillancourt, Pierre Mierski, and Valérie Soucy were applauded by all their colleagues for their 25th anniversary with the firm.
