Your responsibilities

You will contribute to the conceptual development of a variety of projects (e.g., office spaces, condos, restaurants, hotels, spas…there’s something for everyone!) by performing the following tasks:

  • Meet with the client to understand the project’s requirements
  • Prepare and track schedules and budget estimates
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Develop technical project plans that meet the client’s requirements
  • Advise the client on the selection of furniture, decor, finishes, and materials
  • Design presentations for clients (e.g., mood boards)
  • Conduct site visits for quality control purposes
  • Ensure effective communication regarding the progress of the work with all stakeholders
  • Meet with representatives to stay abreast of new products and trends

Your qualifications

  • College or university degree in interior design
  • At least 5 years of experience in interior design
  • Excellent understanding of technical details in construction and cabinetmaking
  • Proficiency in rendering software, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite
  • Bilingualism (a plus)
  • Creativity, initiative, customer focus, and teamwork
