Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for putting your creativity to work by developing concepts for a variety of projects (e.g., restaurants, hotels, spas, office layouts, condos... there's something for everyone!).

  • Meet with clients to understand their project needs.
  • Prepare and follow up on schedules and budget estimates.
  • Take measurements.
  • Develop technical plans for the project that meet the client's requirements.
  • Advise clients on the choice of furniture, decoration, finishes, and materials.
  • Design presentations for clients (e.g., mood boards).
  • Visit construction sites for quality control purposes
  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders regarding the progress of the work
  • Meet with representatives to stay abreast of new products and trends
     

Your qualifications

  • College or university degree in interior design
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in interior design
  • Excellent understanding of technical details in construction and cabinetmaking
  • Proficiency in rendering software and SketchUp
  • Bilingualism (an asset)
  • Analytical skills, creativity, customer focus, rigor, organizational skills, teamwork
