Evolo NEX

Located in an exceptional natural setting with unobstructed views of the St. Lawrence River and high-end amenities, Pointe Nord embodies a distinctive way of life where well-being, exclusivity, and a connection with nature converge. The final phase of the development, Evolo NEX stands out with an interior design that blends sophistication and accessibility. This project highlights the site's unique environment, with bright and refined spaces designed to promote relaxation and contemplation.

Mandated with the design of the entrance hall, common areas, fitness room, spa, and corridors across all 26 floors, LemayMichaud crafted elegant interiors in perfect harmony with the site’s exceptional setting. The objective was to seamlessly integrate this phase into the Pointe Nord identity while affirming its distinctive character: a highly sought-after destination where well-being is coupled with a refined, minimalist aesthetic.

The conceptual approach is rooted in a contemporary and minimalist aesthetic, showcasing noble materials and natural textures. The neutral and warm color palette fosters a calming atmosphere, while the use of natural textures, such as wood and stone, softens the surfaces and adds a touch of comfort. Abundant natural light fills the spaces, enhancing a sense of openness and connection with the surrounding environment.

Technical challenges, such as the limited ceiling height in the corridors, were overcome with thoughtful choices: discreet recessed lighting, a palette of light hues, reflective surfaces, and vertical architectural elements that create a sense of height and depth.

In the spaces dedicated to well-being, the interior design serves the sensory experience, promoting an enveloping and rejuvenating ambiance. Whether in the spa or the fitness room, every detail has been meticulously curated to create an environment conducive to relaxation and balance. Soft lighting, combined with a palette of textures and finishes inspired by nature, helps establish a calming atmosphere. This approach, both understated and refined, flows seamlessly with the overall identity of the project.

With a commitment to ensuring the longevity of the spaces and an environmentally conscious approach, particular attention was given to the selection of local, sustainable materials. This not only helps reduce transportation costs but also ensures a responsible and timeless design.
