Pointe Nord: Exclusivity Living
Set within an exceptional natural setting and offering breathtaking views of the Saint Lawrence River, Pointe Nord embodies a distinctive lifestyle where well-being, exclusivity, and a deep connection with nature converge.
As the latest phase of the development, Evolo NEX rises prominently at the forefront of the Pointe-Nord neighborhood, making a striking presence in the urban landscape. The tower stands out with a design that balances sophistication and accessibility, highlighting the site’s unique environment through luminous, refined spaces crafted to encourage relaxation and contemplation.
Commissioned for the tower’s architecture as well as the interior design of the lobby, communal areas, fitness room, spa, and corridors across all 26 floors, LemayMichaud has created elegant, harmonious spaces in perfect continuity with the exceptional setting. The aim was to integrate this phase into Pointe Nord’s identity while affirming its distinctive character: a sought-after destination where well-being meets a clean, refined aesthetic.

Nature in the forefront
Drawing inspiration from the architectural heritage of Île-des-Sœurs, Evolo NEX interprets classical vocabulary through the simplicity of its form, the quality of its materials, and its respect for the natural environment. Clean façades, mineral tones, layered volumes, and a light architectural envelope: every detail evokes timeless architecture, rooted in the island’s heritage yet bearing its own distinct signature.
The design emphasizes transparency and lightness, allowing views of the gardens at the rear even from the lobby. The tower’s composition accentuates its verticality, while the base opens onto surrounding spaces, creating a large-scale project with a human-centered scale. By focusing on vertical density, the project minimizes its footprint while freeing generous green areas, naturally extending the riverside linear park and providing residents with privileged access to nature, just steps from downtown.

The conceptual approach is based on a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic that highlights high-quality materials and natural textures. A neutral, warm color palette contributes to a calming atmosphere, while materials such as wood and stone soften surfaces and add comfort. Abundant natural light floods the spaces, enhancing openness and connection with the outdoors.
Technical constraints, such as the limited ceiling heights in the corridors, were addressed through smart design choices: discreet recessed lighting, light color palettes, reflective surfaces, and vertical architectural elements that create a sense of height and depth.

Sustainable design
In the wellness areas, interior design serves the sensory experience, fostering a soothing and restorative ambiance. Every detail was carefully considered to promote relaxation and balance: soft lighting, natural textures, and refined finishes combine to create an enveloping, harmonious sensory environment.
With a focus on the longevity of the spaces and environmental responsibility, particular attention was given to selecting local, sustainable materials. This approach reduces transportation costs while ensuring a timeless and responsible design.
