LemayMichaud - Montreal Renovation

Fit-out of our Montreal offices
For the relocation of its Montreal offices, LemayMichaud sought a space reminiscent of its former premises, featuring high ceilings, exposed structure and brick walls, and abundant natural light—essential for employee well-being and the creation of the material library. Acoustic performance was also a priority.
The selected building met these criteria with its skylights and raw concrete flooring, intentionally preserved to retain traces of its past. Upon entering, a spacious communal area, including the kitchen and a large central island, fosters interaction. The walls of this space are covered with felt to enhance acoustics.
The central core houses enclosed and utility spaces, with dark-painted walls that highlight the original wooden structure. The workshop area remains open, allowing for a workstation layout in clusters that create dynamic sub-zones and ensure smooth circulation. Finally, graphic elements, notably on the reception’s glass partition, reinforce the firm’s brand identity.
