Located near the town of Beacon, upstate New York, the Norsk Spa is set in a rural context, with its experience oriented towards enhancing the surrounding nature.
The overall project is set on a site adjacent an old stable, alongside a stream that opens onto a vast, rolling expanse. The architecture and layout of the site are inspired by the natural context, advocating a vernacular volumetry that is dispersed into several pavilions, made up in part of existing barns that will be preserved, while presenting an elegant contemporary signature.
