Quebec’s office needs a refresh
In 1989, LEMAYMICHAUD acquired an abandoned building in the Old Port of Quebec, built in 1906 for the Bank of Montreal. In 2009, 20 years later, with a bigger team and different needs, it’s time to enlarge and refresh the Québec’s office.
The LEMAYMICHAUD team has therefore set up two superimposed workshops, one of them in a floating mezzanine, in order to respect the nature of the building and to make the entire team benefit from the quality of the space.
Thus, the mezzanine is detached from the side walls, which allows the two workshops to enjoy an abundance of natural light and let talk about the architectural quality of the building.
