The welcoming Italian trattoria Matto 71 is the second from its lineage.
They have chosen Québec city’s old port as their niche and have integrated a spacious location with high ceilings, wide fenestration allowing the view over three different streets. These strong architectural features have influenced the interior design so to accentuate a traffic flow that would give an animated ambiance.
The owners also wanted to have an area that was going to be specifically designed for a clientele that desires to savour their meals in a quiet and intimate environment, nested between the cellar and the charming and picturesque Sault-aux-Matelots streets.
