The concept of the Alt Hotels is based on a philosophy focusing on lifestyle and environmental responsibility.
Strategically located near the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, the hotel benefits from a direct access to the airport by a covered pedestrian bridge. Inside, bare concrete is the highlight, from the columns in public areas through the polished concrete floor in the entrance hallway to the exposed ceilings in the guestrooms.
The public areas are bright, user-friendly and filled with vivid colors. The walnut furniture in the lobby, designed by Gervasoni, creates an intimate and laid-back ambiance reminiscent the warmth of a home.
The lobby is enlivened by an original work of art, composed of thousands of Instagram photographs on local Halifax themes, submitted by members of the Alt Hotel online community. In the guestrooms, the restrooms prefabricated modules, a feature that distinguishes the Alt Hotels, allows an ingenious separation of the areas. Result of close collaboration with the customer, the Alt Hotel Halifax dominates its environment with class and character with its sophisticated design and high quality construction.
