700 René Lévesque O.

At the heart of an existing building, 700 René-Lévesque O. unfolds as a continuous cinematic sequence, offering an immersive environment where space draws inspiration from film to become narrative, rhythm, and a staging of everyday life.
Spanning two floors and nearly 30,000 square feet, the layout creates a unifying workplace environment where every movement becomes part of a fluid and intentional journey.

Upon entry, a strong architectural gesture reminiscent of cinema marquees marks the transition between the urban bustle and a composed interior world, where light and perspective become narrative elements in their own right.
The project is grounded in the notion of flow. Primary circulation paths orchestrate a natural progression toward light and structure the spatial experience. Workspaces unfold gradually, oriented toward the exterior, maximizing natural daylight and offering carefully framed views.

All employees are grouped on a single floor, fostering spontaneous interaction, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging. Spaces alternate between open areas for teamwork and quieter zones dedicated to focused work, providing flexibility suited to contemporary ways of working.

The second floor is conceived as a place for gathering, where modular rooms, informal settings, and multi-purpose areas unfold with a high degree of adaptability. This spatial organization enhances clarity while supporting a diversity of uses, within an environment where understated, timeless materials establish a cohesive and enduring atmosphere.
The material language also highlights an integrated wayfinding system, where typography, braille, and pictograms become strong identity elements. Subtle yet strategic color markers punctuate the journey, improving orientation while introducing a playful and human dimension.

Rooted in a commitment to sustainability and targeting high environmental performance standards (LEED), the project prioritizes natural light, responsible materials, and optimized indoor air quality, integrated as inseparable components of the spatial experience.
